Asset Status - Asset

The Asset  page shows the comprehensive view of the organization’s assets, helping you to understand the interdependencies, locations, and configurations of different resources.


1.  Navigate to IT Management > Asset Status > Asset.


The Asset page is displayed.


The description of fields is given below:


Field

Description

No.

Serial Number of the asset.

INF

Allows you to access additional options like Metric Log, DB KPI, Remote Connect and Move to History. It also shows the details like Host Name, Private IP, Public IP, Status and OS of the device.

Date

Shows the date and time stamps at which the trigger was created.

Severity

Shows the severity of the trigger. Some of the severity stages are Information, Average, Critical, and Warning.

Host Name

Shows the name of the host machine.

Description

Shows the description about the status of the device.

Assigned

Shows the email ID of the person to whom this is assigned to.

Hours

Shows the number of hours

Status

Shows the status of the trigger. Generally it is either Problem or Resolved.


The State Filter allows you to categorize and view assets based on their current condition such as Monitoring, Ignored, Failed, Installing, Offline, or Online—helps to quickly identify and manage devices efficiently. 


You can export asset data from the current page, all items, or selected items in either PDF or CSV format for easy reporting and sharing. 


Click on the filter and search and it will show various asset status. 

Select New Devices, Failed Devices etc.  


Able to repair all failed machines for select any particular machine.


As an Alternate, you can select any particular machine from the Asset Map.

The Asset page is displayed.


2.  Click the button in the INF column of any record. 

A popup window is displayed.


3.  To ignore an asset monitoring, click Ignore Monitoring.  

The selected asset monitoring is ignored. 

Note:  An ignored asset can be retained for monitoring and a failed asset can be repaired for monitoring. To retain or repair monitoring, you need to provide additional domain controller credentials.


4.  To retain or repair monitoring, click the respective option.


The Domain Controller Credential dialog is displayed.

 


5.  Enter the registered user email address of the domain controller in the System User Name field.

6.  Enter the password in the System Password field.

7.  Click Save.


Based on the option selected, the asset will be repaired or retained for monitoring.


Clicking Scan Devices allows you to perform an IP or Subnet scan by selecting predefined network ranges or entering a custom IP to discover and add devices for monitoring.
