How to Scan Devices for Asset Map?

You can manually scan devices for asset mapping.

1.  Navigate to IT Management > Asset Status.

The Asset Map page is displayed.

2. Scroll down the page and click Scan Devices.

The Select Subnet dialog is displayed.

3.  Select the option to scan for devices. The available options are 

• IP Scan - To scan using the IP address, select the option IP Scan and enter the IP Address of the network in the corresponding field that is enabled.

• Subnet Scan - To scan only the required subnet, select the Subnet Scan option and select the required IP addresses of the subnets from the enabled options.

4. Click Continue.

5.  Enter the user name of the system in the System User Name field.

6.  Enter the password of the system in the System Password field.

7.  Click Submit.

The Scanning Started notification is displayed.  Please wait for the process to complete.

Note: You can stop the scan for devices by clicking Stop Scan and confirming the action.
