Event Logs to provide a unified view of multiple log types. The Event Log now displays:

  • Security Logs

  • System Logs

  • Application Logs

  • Windows PowerShell Logs



1. Filters in Event Log

You can search and filter logs with multiple fields for better analysis.

Search by:

  • Event ID

  • Host Name

  • Source

  • Description

Filter by:

  • Business Unit

  • Host

  • Date Range (From–To)

  • Severity



2. Security Log

The Security Log records events related to system security, such as:

  • Login attempts

  • Resource access

  • Authentication failures

  • Policy changes

  • Event ID

  • Source



3. System Log

The System Log contains events logged by Windows system components. These include:

  • Driver errors

  • Hardware failures

  • System service issues



4. Application Log

The Application Log stores events from installed applications and programs. Examples include:

  • Errors

  • Warnings

  • Informational messages generated by software



5. Windows PowerShell Log

The Windows PowerShell Log captures events related to PowerShell usage, such as:

  • Script execution

  • Command usage

  • Errors

  • Administrative actions for auditing and troubleshooting
