How to Configure Asset Settings?

The Settings tab of the asset allows you to configure various parameters of the asset. 


1.  Navigate to IT Management > Asset Management.


The Asset Management page is displayed.


2.  Click the select option in the row of the asset the details of which you want to view.

3. Scroll down the page.


The Device Details section is displayed. 

4.  Navigate to Settings.


The Settings tab is displayed.



5.  Edit the necessary details in the fields to configure settings of the asset.

The description of fields is given below:

Field

Description

Device Class

Defines the device type to which this asset belongs to.

License Mode

Defines the configuration to control how Terminal Services manages Client Access Licenses (CALs)

Date of Purchase

Shows the date on which this asset was purchased.

Warranty Ends On

Shows the date on which this warranty ends.

Enable Schedule

Allows you to enable the asset to be available for scheduling.

Enable Support

Allows you to enable support for asset.

Remote Control

Allows you to enable the remote control of the asset.

Given Name

Shows the name of the asset.

Remote URL

Shows the URL for remote connection.

Username

Shows the username used for remote connection.

Password

Shows the password for remote connection

Purchased From

Shows the name of the supplier from whom the asset was procured.

Supplier Mobile

Shows the mobile number of the supplier.

Supplier Email

Shows the email address of the supplier.
