SSL Certificate Configuration & Monitoring

Certificate Configuration (Network & ADCS)

Network Device Certificates:

Click the Add Profile button to create a profile


Add Profile Configuration:

  • Select type as ‘Network Certificate’ from the drop down
  • Enter any name for your profile.
  • Select All Fields or Individual Fields.
  • If Individual Fields
    • Select the field from the drop down.
  • Enter a keyword in Certificate Text to search
  • Enter Threshold Value
  • Click Save


After adding configuration you will see the configuration as below with option to edit and delete



Then, go to the Network Device Certificates tab and click the Configure Certificate button


Add Certificate to be configured for monitoring:

  • Select the desired Profile from the drop down.
  • Choose the machine from which the certificate should be retrieved by applying profile.
  • Click the Save button to add the configuration.
  • After a few minutes, the configured certificate details will be automatically fetched


After adding Certificate configuration you will see the status with the details on mouseover


Only the certificates that matches the selected profile will be retrieved and displayed in the Certificate Monitoring page under the Network Device section.


Certificates tab in Certificate Management

ADCS Certificates Monitoring:

Click the Add Profile button:


Add Profile Configuration:
  • Select ADCS Certificates from the profile type drop-down
  • Enter any name for your profile
  • Select All Templates or Individual Template.
  • For Individual Template
    • Select the Template from the drop-down
  • Select All Fields or Individual Fields.
  • For Individual Fields
    • Select the field in the drop-down.
  • Enter a keyword in Certificate Text to search
  • Enter Threshold Value.
  • Click Save


Then, go to the ADCS Certificates tab and click the Add New button:


Add Configure Certificate:
  • Select the desired Profile from the drop-down.
  • Choose the machine from which the certificate should be retrieved by applying profile.
  • Click the Save button to add the configuration.
  • After a few minutes, the configured certificate details will be automatically fetched

Certificate Alert:

Configure device group for certificate:
  • Navigate to the Configuration → Asset Management page.
  • Click on the Device Group tab.
  • Select the Add Device Group button.


Configure Device Group:

  • Select the Group Type (Network or ADCS)
  • Enter any name for your group
  • Choose the desired Devices from the list to include in the group.
Click the Save button to create the device group


Configure Alert:

Click the Add New Alert as shown below

  • Enter a name for the alert.
  • From the Alert Type drop-down, select Certificate Status.
  • Enter the Threshold Value
  • Select the User Group to be notified
  • Select the Device Group
  • Select the External Users (Optional)
  • Choose the Severity Type (eg., Critical, Warning).
  • Check the box to enable email notifications.


After adding Alert configuration you will see the configuration like this with Edit and Delete option


When the threshold value is reached, a trigger will be automatically created and listed on the

Triggers page.(We don’t sent emails at this stage)


Reminder emails are sent to the customer (only to the configured users) on every Monday (See email format below). Days and Users can be make as configurable in future releases.
