How to Edit/Delete Backup?

The File Backup/ System State Backup page allows you to edit the backup path and delete the file that is backed up.


The following example illustrates how to edit/ delete a backup on the File Backup page.  


1.  Navigate to Backup Management > Network Backup.


The File Backup page is displayed by default.



2.  Click  icon in the row of the file backup that you wish to update the backup path.  


The File Backup dialog is displayed.



3.  Make the necessary changes in the required fields.  For more information regarding the fields and their description, refer to the following table.


Field

Description

Source Path

Refers to a specific location from which the file is selected for backup

Target Path

Refers to a specific destination where the selected file for backup is stored

Schedule Type

Refers to the frequency type at which the file backup is automatically initiated

Schedule Date/ Day

Refers to the date/ day when the file backup is executed

Schedule Time

Refers to the time when the file backup is executed


4.  Click Save.


The file backup is saved.


Note: Click  icon in the row of the file that you wish to delete a file backup that is no longer needed.



The confirmation dialog is displayed where you need to click Yes, Delete it to confirm your action.
